Comedian Red Grant is bringing his “Grow Up” tour to the Punch Line Philly for three shows, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, September 27-29.


Best known for his contagious laugh and “real, raw comedy,” Red Grant has remained one of the top comedians on television over the years, gaining millions of fans from all walks of life. He got his start in 1996 performing at New York’s Apollo Theatre and on MTV’s Def Comedy Jam. He’s since gone on to star in such films as American Hustle and First Sunday alongside contemporaries as Katt Williams, Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan. He has appeared on “Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam” and Comedy Central’s “Reality Bites Back,” and has written for shows that include Snoop Dogg’s “Dog After Dark” and Comedy Central’s “Roast of Flavor Flav.” On the small screen, he’s starred in own hour-long Showtime special “Caught Red Handed” and Comedy Central Presents’ half-hour special “Red Grant.”


Philadelphia is among only 10 cities that Grant selected for the “Grow Up” tour, which he plans to record for a future Netflix special.


The show also features comedians Skeet Carter and Isiah Kelly.
